Royce L. Evans, owner of Equinity Performance, LLC; a life –long rider, competitor and student of all things equestrian developed the line in late 2007. An Elon University graduate, Royce worked in the horse industry as a sales rider and young horse trainer for many years before transitioning to the corporate world. Although working in corporate human resources, Royce continued to ride for a small number of clients.

"Riding a variety of horses in different stages of training and muscle development peaked my interest in creating a quality saddle pad to address many common issues such as, saddle fit, slippage and muscle soreness". After lots of research, experimentation and input from an interdisciplinary team of industry professionals, Equinity Performance, LLC was created.
